Deriş provides assistance and advice on drafting, preparing, filing and prosecuting application of patents/utility models in Turkey. Since Turkey became a member of the EPC on November 1, 2000, we manage provisional protection and validation of European Patents before the Turkish Patent Institute.
Besides providing services for drafting, preparing, filing and consultation on the registration and enforceability of national industrial design rights, Deriş also represents its clients for international design applications, as of the membership of Turkey to the Hague Agreement (Geneva text) on January 1, 2005.
Deriş provides services for drafting, preparing, filing within one to two business days and prosecuting of trademark applications in Turkey, follows administrative procedure management for securing registrations in TRN Cyprus and in other countries and fumishes consultation and management for the protection of copyright registration.
Deriş assists its clients in providing opinion and developing business strategies for the protection of copyrights, domain names, protection of breeder’s rights on new plant varieties, integrated circuit topography and geographical indications before the administrative authorities such as Turkish Patent Institute, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
