Deris provides assistance and consulting on drafting, preparing, filing and prosecuting applications for patents/utility models in Turkey. Since Turkey has become a member of the EPC on November 1, 2000, Deris also manages provisional protection and validation of European Patents before the Turkish Patent Institute.
Besides providing services for drafting, preparing, filing and consultation on the registration and enforceability of national industrial design rights, Deris also represents its clients for international design applications, as of the membership of Turkey to the Hague Agreement (Geneva text) on January 1, 2005.
Deris provides services for drafting, preparing, filing within one to two business days and prosecuting of trademark applications in Turkey, follows administrative procedure management for securing registrations in TRN Cyprus and in other countries and furnishes consultation and management for the protection of copyright registration.
Deris assists its clients in providing consultation and developing business strategies for the protection of copyrights, domain names, protection of breeder’s rights on new plant varieties, integrated circuit topography and geographical indications before the administrative authorities such as Turkish Patent Institute, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
