Deriş is attending to AIPPI 42nd World Congress

17th Edition of MIP Handbook 2010 Survey Results
We are pleased to announce you that within the 17th Edition of MIP Handbook 2010 our firm DERIS PATENTS and TRADEMARKS AGENCY has been classified in TIER 1 in first level of the year 2009 in Trademark and Patent prosecution matter by Managing IP . We have been informed that this is a result of an extensive research among IP practitioners carried out over six months starting in October 2009 and ending in January 2010.
Also within the 17th Edition of MIP Handbook 2010, Deris Law Firm also has been classified in TIER 1 of the year 2009 for trademark / copyrigt and patent contentious by Managing IP at the end of a long term surveys realised by a team of researchers in London, New York and Hong Kong who sought responses from thousands of practitioners by phone, fax and e-mail and in face to face meetings.

We will attend the PTMG Conference of autumn in Athens.
Deriş will be represented this year by Ms. Elisavet Yakovidis Çinlemez from the patent department and Ms. Seda Ungur from the legal department at the 81st PTMG conference to be held in Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel, Athens from 29 September 2010 to 2nd October 2010. We will be glad to meet our colleagues during this conference in the field of intellectual property right.

Nis Classification has been Amended in Turkey
The Regulation for Amending the Official Classification of Goods and Services which has been in force since January 2007, has come into force after being published in the Official Gazette no.27468 in Wednesday 20.01.2010, covering the amendments of some goods and services mainly under the classes 06, 07, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 30, 35, 43 and 44 .
